If you can only attend one White Mountain Chapter event a year, then this is the one you cannot afford to miss! Join us on Saturday January 24, 2009 for the annual Winter Reunion Party (f/k/a The Holiday Party) at The Highlander Inn in Manchester. This will be the social event of the season!

Thanks to the creative booking skills of the Social Event committee, we will have another awesome Winter Reunion for you to enjoy, and this $100+ event is being offered for only $40 per person! Attire is "dressy casual". Please make special note that $5 from each ticket purchased will be donated to charity. The charity for the event is the New Hampshire chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Be prepared for delicious food and great entertainment. We have secured a New Hampshire legend to entertain us all evening long. The band Manchuka will be performing for us. During dinner, they will provide light music with a four piece band. Then, after dinner, it is stepped up a few notches and the full ten-piece band gets the party going. Dinner will be a delicious buffet including a Roast Beef carving station that is sure to please everyone. Here are the stats for your calendars:

Upcoming Events...

Just to give you an idea of the fun and great times we had last year, here is a sampling of the things that happened last year. Besides the wonderful comic entertainment of StageCoach Improv, we had a People's Choice photo contest. Awards were given for Best Driving School Photo, Best Classic BMW Photo and Best Social Event Gathering Photo. There was also an BMW Art Car raffle and a 50/50 raffle to benefit The Webster House.

This year the charity is the New Hampshire chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. For those who do not know what this organization is all about, Make-A-Wish " to grant a heartfelt wish for every eligible child in New Hampshire who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition." Not only will $5 be donated from each ticket sold, a portion of the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated as well.

The highlights of the night will most certainly be the entertainment and silent auction. This year, we have changed the entertainment. You will be amazed and dazzled by the musical prowess of Manchuka – as their motto indicates, they are a "new breed of funky dance band". This is no ordinary band, but a ten-piece band including two vocalists, a full horn and percussion section and so much more! So be ready to truly be entertained!!

New to the party will be a silent auction. We have secured some great items ranging from facials to bumper covers to BSO tickets and more. Some of the donors are True Blue Drycleaning, Skin and Body Spa, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Turner Motor Sport, Stonebridge Country Club, Panera Bread, Lassie Girl and The Highlander Inn to name a few. So be ready to bid and get some great items to help a great cause!

This showcase party has been growing each year, thanks to the hard work of our Social Event Committee. Last year we sold out. Actually we overbooked the seats in the room we reserved. Don't wait for a Christmas gift invitation for these tickets! Register NOW!
